All-Inclusive Tuition
$550
One-time payment. No hidden fees.

  • 12 Hands-on Classes – Two-hour guided sessions every Saturday.
  • All Kiln Firings – Professional drying and firing for every piece you make.
  • Materials & Tools – High-quality clay and full access to studio equipment.
  • Decoration Kit – Basic tools for underglazing and surface design.
  • Small Class Size (7 Seats Only)

We keep our groups limited to just 7 participants. This creates a quiet, focused environment where your instructor has the time to work with you individually. Whether you are struggling with centering or refining a shape, you will have someone right there to guide your hands and ensure you progress every week.
  • Step-by-Step Artistic Guidance

This course follows a structured 12-week curriculum. Instead of working in isolation, you will follow a guided path where each class introduces a new technique. We teach the "why" behind the craft—helping you understand how clay behaves, how to control the wheel, and the logic of professional glazing.
  • All-Inclusive Pricing

The $550 tuition is a one-time payment for the full 12-week intensive. This includes everything you need to finish the course: all clay, professional tools, glazes, and all kiln firings. There are no recurring subscriptions or hidden material costs.
The 12-Week Roadmap
Weeks 1–4
The Foundations: Mastering centering, pulling walls, trimming and creating the cylinder and bowl.
Weeks 5–7
Functional Forms: Throwing vases and coffee mugs (including the art of pulling and attaching handles).
Weeks 8–9
Complex Shapes: Crafting lidded jars (canisters/sugar bowls) and flower pots with proper drainage.
Weeks 9–12
The Finish & Mastery: A deep dive into glazing techniques, underglaze painting, and surface decoration—while continuing to practice and refine your wheel-throwing skills.
Building Skills, Not Just Bowls
Don’t fear "ruining" the clay. In this studio, clay is a resource for learning, not a precious commodity. Your first pieces might be wobbly or uneven—and that is exactly where the growth happens. We don’t aim for perfection on Day 1; we aim for understanding the technique. By the end of 12 weeks, you will have the muscle memory and the "logic" of the wheel in your hands.

Your Path to Independence. I specifically recommend this intensive for those who want to eventually transition into a Studio Membership. This course is designed to give you the technical foundation required to walk into any professional studio and work independently with confidence. You won't need an instructor to tell you what to do next—you will already know the process from start to finish.

A Community of Makers. While you will leave this course fully equipped to practice on your own, you are always welcome back. All graduates of the Spring Intensive will have priority access to our Advanced Level course in the Fall if you wish to continue refining your artistry with us.
